Proteus Europe are actively searching for a SQL Database Analyst for a leading international provider of banking and insurance services to personal, business and institutional customers. This fantastic opportunity will be a 6 months contract initially and is based in Brussels. My client is looking for an individual educated to at least degree level (must be SQL Server Microsoft certified) with three years professional experience in a financial institute or large organisation, supporting SQL Server 2000 and 2005 including Reporting Services and Analysis. It is also essential to be able to communicate in the Dutch and English language. All reports or documentation must be written in English. Good knowledge of French is a plus, as well as knowledge of Oracle, Erwin, VB or C#. Your Duties will include: - Delivering the projects on time with good performance. - Providing support to internal customers - Ensuring that the standards and guidelines are respected. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining multiple SQL Server databases and related products - Developing scripts, while providing documentation and procedures. - Ensuring performance , security, data integrity, and maintaining a high level of systems availability. Personal skills required are: - Stress resistant - Problem solving ability - Good communication - Organization - Good time management and - Multi-tasking skills.
